Drop 4+

Odin’s Drop 4+ is the drop game four ways: three in a row on a small board made for young players, four in a row on the seven-column board everybody knows, five in a row on a nine-column board, and six in a row on an eleven-column board. Pick a column and your coin falls as far as it can. Two house rules change every game: Runestones scatter a few neutral stones before play, so no opening is ever the same, and Undertow lets you pull a coin from the bottom so the whole column sinks. Play across the room or across the world: settle in for a live match, take turns when you have a moment, or share a screen for a friendly rivalry.

Four boards, one rule

Drop a coin and it falls to the lowest free cell in its column. Line up enough of your coins in a row, column, or diagonal and you win; a full board with no line is a draw.

Bigger boards are worth more XP.

A new pair of coins every game

The coins are painted Viking portraits, a hundred of them from the longhouse of Odin’s Viking Chess, and every game deals a fresh pair. Or pick another look in Settings: engraved faces, Viking runes or checkers pieces.

Play together, your way

In a live or nearby rematch the sides swap, so nobody keeps the opening.

Find your challenge

Play solo against four computer strengths: Easy, Medium, Hard, and Expert. Get comfortable with a new board, then raise the difficulty when you’re ready. Every board can be won.

Want a nudge? The coach suggests a column and can point out an immediate win or a way to avoid an immediate loss. Undo during local play lets you try another approach, and every board includes a How to Play guide.

Make your progress count

Earn XP, climb the ranks from Wanderer to Grand King, and pursue 23 achievements and 10 Game Center leaderboards, including a leaderboard for each board. Bigger boards earn more.

Local games save automatically, so you can take a break and return to an unfinished game.
