Odin's Tic-Tac-Toe · Last updated: October 4, 2026

Odin's Tic-Tac-Toe is developed by Hollender Consulting, LLC. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: we don't collect any of it.

WHAT WE COLLECT

Nothing. Hollender Consulting, LLC does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal information from Odin's Tic-Tac-Toe. There are no analytics, no tracking technologies, and no third-party software development kits of any kind in the app. No third-party advertising. More Games opens our own App Store page.

WHERE YOUR GAME DATA LIVES

Your saved games, win/loss records, streaks, level, and settings are stored locally on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the app also keeps your saved games, records, streaks, level, and language choice in your own private iCloud account so they stay in sync across your Apple devices, along with two small notes it keeps for itself: whether it has asked you to rate it, and a few counts about our other games. That data belongs to you and travels between your devices through Apple's iCloud service. We have no server, no database, and no ability to see, retrieve, or recover it.

Deleting the app removes the local copy. Managing or deleting the iCloud copy is done through your device's iCloud settings.

GAME CENTER

Leaderboards, achievements, and the internet multiplayer modes — Quick Async Match, Live Match, and invitations — are provided by Apple's Game Center. If you choose to use them, Apple handles the associated data — including your Game Center nickname, your scores, and the delivery of moves between players — under Apple's own privacy policy, not this one. When you play an online match, your opponent sees the display name your Game Center account presents and your level, which the app reads from your score on its Rank Points leaderboard.

Game Center is entirely optional. If you are not signed in, the app skips it and every other feature continues to work.

LOCAL NETWORK

Play Someone Nearby finds other people running Odin's Tic-Tac-Toe on your local network, so two people in the same room can play each other. This uses Apple's MultipeerConnectivity framework, which discovers the other device and then connects the two directly. It is not Game Center, and it is why your device asks for Local Network permission the first time you open that screen.

Discovery runs while you are on that screen and stops when you leave it. If a nearby game's connection drops, it runs for up to 90 seconds more while the app reconnects the two devices. While it runs, your device advertises the name shown there — your Game Center nickname and the kind of device, such as "Sean · iPad", if you are signed in to Game Center, otherwise your device's own name. The connection between the two devices is encrypted, carries nothing but the moves of your game, and never passes through a server of ours. Playing nearby does not require a Game Center account. No location data is collected, and nothing about your network is transmitted to us.

THE WIDGET

On iPhone and iPad, the Your Turn widget shows online matches waiting on your move. The app writes that short summary into a private container shared only with its own widget, on the same device. Nothing about it is sent anywhere.

CHILDREN

Odin's Tic-Tac-Toe is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. Because we collect no data at all, we collect no data from children.

PURCHASES

Odin's Tic-Tac-Toe is free. Not free-to-start, not free-with-ads: free. There is no purchase, no subscription, no in-app purchase, no third-party advertising and nothing to unlock. We never handle a payment of any kind, because there is none to handle.

CHANGES

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new "last updated" date.
